Explanation

Seismic resistance bearings are designed to protect structures from earthquakes by increasing resistance.

    Elastomeric Bearing

Elastomeric Bearing are laminated elastomers in rectangular or circular shape that can support vertical load to the superstructure of bridges or structures while allowing their horizontal movement, to decrease excessive horizontal loads to the understructure for dampening.

    Pot Bearing

Pot bearing delivers the load through rubber plates encapsulated by the upper and lower plates; the vertical load is therefore delivered evenly, allowing rotation of the middle plate along the horizontal axis. Surface treated slipping plate and PTFE plate allows the slipping functions.

    Spherical Bearing

Spherical bearings deliver the load to the ground through a hemispherical bearing plate confined between the upper and lower plates. The hemispherical bearing plates contact the upper plate with a flat interface, and the lower plate with a spherical/cylindrical interface, so that the flat interface can move and the spherical/cylindrical interface can rotate.

    Others

A monorail Bearing is a kind of steel bearings that supports track PC with movable bearings for horizontal movement, rollers, and pins for rotation. The shape of a monorail shoe may change according to the shape of the tracks.

The Pin/Roller Bearing is a kind of steel bearing for structures with high rotations, such as arch bridges, that allows movements by rollers installed between the lower and base plates, along with pins between the upper and lower plate for rotation.
